Pond Liner Size Calculator
To work out the size of pond liner required for a pond use the calculator below which uses the formula:
Length of liner = (Depthx2) + (Overlapx2) + Max pond length
Width of liner = (Depthx2) + (Overlapx2) + Max pond width
In this formula, both the depth and overlap are doubled before being added to the length of the pond. This accounts for the distance on both sides of the pond you are looking to line.
A few steps and/or uneven slopes in the ponds side do not significantly affect the measurement.
