Community Creator
The Think Fish Community Creator is a very powerful and unique tool that has no rival anywhere! The Community Creator allows you to enter a list of fish and their quantities to create a 'fishtank' or community of fish. Based on the fish you choose the Community Creator will tell you if any of those fish are incompatible or may present problems in your fishtank. The community creator will also provide you with a recommended temperature and hardness level for your fishtank.

To use this feature, first either search for a fish using the search boxes or category search on the left. You can also enter a fish's code, which can be taken from our downloadable PDF thumbnail guides; this is the quickest and easiest way to find fish. Once you have a fish you wish to add to your fishtank, simply click the 'add this fish' icon, then enter the quantity in the 'your fishtank' list and click update. Any incompatibilities will be listed below your fish list and you can alter your selection based on the suggestions provided.

If you enter your aquarium size and filtration type at the bottom of the page, you will be given a guide stocking level in cm's of fish and the current stocking level of all the fish in your list. Once you have finished, click on the 'save fishtank' icon and your selection will be saved, ready for you the next time you login to Think Fish. Up to six fishtanks can be saved for each member.

Incompatibilities and issues
Your tank set-up and recommendations
To calculate the recomendations you must first set the Aquarium size and Filtration type.
Aquarium size: Filtration Type:
W cm    L cm    H cm
The stocking levels are based on the information provided above and displayed as overall length of fish in cm.
Guide stocking level: 0cm Current stocking level: 0cm
Important Notes: Incompatibilities and issues listed above only apply to conflicts between fish, not the needs of the individual fish.
The advised stocking level is based on a stocking value expressed in cm for all your chosen fish. This value is different to the fishes size in cm, in order to account for differences in waste production amounts. The stocking level does not account for individual fishes which may grow too large for your aquarium - Please check each fishes aquarium requirements to find out the minimum suitable tank size.
