Banded Rainbowfish
Fish code No.2507
Banded Rainbowfish can differ quite significantly in body markings and shapes depending on their genetic history and point of origin. Some males remain torpedo shaped whilst others become heavily deep bodied as they age. Like many rainbowfish of similar design, these fish are active, hardy, peaceful, and brightly coloured. Ideal for a community of rainbowfishes or a lively community aquarium. The fishes water preferences vary between individuals but they will all adapt well to most conditions. The fish are best kept in aquariums with darker substrates and hiding spots amongst vegetation; this will bring out the fishes stunning colours to best effect.
