Marbled Headstander
Fish code No.0910
The Marbled Headstander is occasionally seen for sale and is often popular due to its attractive patterning. Whilst the fish are young they are peaceful and will happily live together, but as they age the fish becomes a loner and may turn aggressive towards other fish of the same species. Bearing this in mind they are best kept in communities of similar sized hardy fish such as barbs, larger tetras, peaceful cichlids or rainbowfish. The Marbled Headstander will browse algae and take nibbles from delicate plants. If plant material is not available in the aquarium they should be fed some green foods. Provide hiding spots amongst wood and/or hardy plants.
