Pakistani Loach
Fish code No.2105
The Pakistani Loach may be seen with variable markings depending on age and collection location. The body may be white or cream and contain heavily reticulated markings as in the picture here, or more solid markings, often arranged similar to three 'y' shaped lines interspersed with spots. Although relatively peaceful, the Pakistani Loach may harass weaker fish and become aggressive to its own kind. Taking this into account it is best mixed with robust fish and kept either singly or in large groups. Provide a fine sandy bottom or rounded gravel and plenty of hiding spots amongst wood and plants. Although hard water is tolerated, soft water is preferred.
