Hi, we’re running a free weight clinic as part of a new animals series for channel 4 and we’re looking for overweight animals to take part. Over 50% of the UK’s cats and dogs are overweight, 1 in 4 of those is obese, it’s a really common problem that affects a huge variety of species and can effect life expectancy and it can be tricky to treat without the correct advice.

Our team of vets and nurses are the best in the country, the weight clinic is free and we’ll even cover expenses, but places are limited and you’ll need to contact us ASAP to avoid disappointment.

EMAIL US on animals@mavericktv.co.uk or call our hotline on 0121 224 8314 ASAP.

Thanks

I agree, this isn't for people to talk about freak shows this is to care for them, you are actually cuasing them stress and they may die, so stop trying to kill our fish.

I don't know what they are expecting to get from this, fish can't handle being over weight and will quickly die if they are. What do they expect to get someone come forward and say

"yes I have this goldfish and he is really fat because I feed him loads and he doesn't get out much for excersize."

Presenter - " Well we need to put him on a calorie controlled diet and you need to take him out for a swim in a local lake now and again for lose those pounds"

Stupid people...

I've contacted the site owner about this thread. He may well already know about it and have approved it, but I want to make sure.
