Hi,

I have 9 apple snails needing a good home. They are of varying sizes.

I am willing to post them to any where in the UK. I am not looking for any payment but I do want to know that they are going to a good home.

I look forward to hearing from you

Hi, I was hoping to find my snails a home quickly but if I have any left in a months time you can have some. How many would you want to take any way?

They will only eat plants if you don't feed them enough. If you feed them enough your plants will be fine.

Hi, I have posted some pictures to give you an idea of how big they are.

The tub they were in for the photos was approx 5 1/4 inches long.

They will eat common vegetables in combination with fish food.

I had an apple snail (Seamus) and he had the most character in the whole tank..!! For example one day I fed him a big slice of courgette along with a leaf of lettuce. He sat on top of them and ate until it was all finished then he slid across onto my air stone so as to float up through the bubbles and across the top of the water then dive bombed down onto my twisted vallis and started munching on that..!! He was a cool little dude but he had ate half of my plants even tho he was well fed so he had to go..!! The annoying thing was when I bought him from the shop I also bought some plants and they never said a single word about their apetite..!! All is well now tho I have three nerite snails who keep putting sesame seeds all over my tank..!!

According to Sue Rowan their is a species of apple snail that does not eat plants..!!

I am not sure whether the snails would be OK with young sharks and kribs.
But even if the shark and kribs are too small to eat snails just now they will eat them when they get bigger.
