Although often seen for sale, there are much easier and similar bacopa species to keep than this variety. Healthy growth is difficult underwater and the plant will only do well in aquaria with very bright lighting, nutrient rich substrate, and adequate CO2 fertilisation. High temperatures will cause the plant to suffer leaf loss and general ill health.
