This plant is one of the most common Anubias species and makes an ideal foreground or midground plant. The leaves are dark green, robust both physically and in appearance and will grow to around 12-15cm on the end of short stems. Larger leaves will sport noticeable ridges. The plant will produce side shoots and grow horizontally, producing stems and leaves from a central root (rhizome). The plant is highly adaptable, robust and well suited to any aquarium. This plant, and other Anubias sp. can be grown on rocks and wood.
