The clearly visible veins and sometimes ruffled edges of this plants leaf make it a more interesting sword plant than some others. The common name is a little mis-leading, only the new, young leaves sport a red-brown colour. Relatively easy to care for and ideal for use in a larger aquarium as a feature plant. Does better in hard water than soft. Provide plenty of iron, especially in bright light.
