This plant is a cross between Java Fern and bolbitis heudelotii (African/Congo Fern) and is a very popular aquarium plant due to its hardy nature and attractive bushy appearance. The plant often looks best when grown on wood or porus rocks. Regular fertilisation will aid growth but the plant will grow in most conditions.
