Java moss is an adaptable and versatile aquarium plant. It can be used as a foreground plant amongst the base of larger stem plants, attached to rocks or wood or simply left to its own devices. The moss will attach to any hard surface and spread in all directions, regular trimming can be carried out to help shape the plant. There are no special requirements of this plant, although liquid fertilisation does increase the growth rate. Can be used in coldwater aquaria and is ideal for use in breeding tanks.
