The unusual leaf shape of this plant makes it an interesting addition to the aquarium, the leaves are up to 5cm long and a dark green colour. In the aquarium the plant may grow rapidly, needing to be regularly thinned. Bright lighting will prevent the node distance between leaves from becoming to large and will keep the plant compact. The plant will reach the surface and continue to grow under the water. Can be used out of water in a bog aquarium.
Syn: Trichocoronis rivularis
