This large plant can produce leaves up to 150cm in length, so should be used carefully although established plants can be occasionally cut back without any harm. The leaves are 2cm wide and ribbon-like in appearance. Once the leaf reaches the surface it will float horizontally along the aquarium. The Onion Plant adapts well to the aquarium environment and is an undemanding species.
