Stargrass is so called because or the 'star' like arrangement of leaves when viewed from above. This tall, bushy plant is ideal for background planting, or if regularly trimmed, mid-ground. The leaves are roughly 4-5cm long and 0.5cm wide. With good lighting, the plant is relatively easy to keep. Once the stems reach the surface the plant will produce numerous side-shoots. If planted in bright, open areas the plant will grow short and compact, creating a bushy effect.
