A very popular, readily available and well-known aquarium plant. this Hygrophila is highly adaptable and relatively fast growing. The plant is tolerant of a wide range of aquarium conditions but may not do well in softer water. An ideal plant for any aquarium, it is not fussy about substrates or water quality. The plant can be grouped, but allow at least 5-6cm between shoots, the plant looks best when well spaced. Ideal for the edges and corners of the aquarium. If the leaves begin to yellow, add additional iron or CO2. Can be kept in cooler water.
