This smaller vallisneria can be used in the mid-ground or foreground of the aquarium and will spread rapidly, producing numerous daughter plants from runners. The leaves may reach up to 25cm in length but usually only reach 15-20cm in the aquarium. The plant is undemanding and adaptable and ideal for smaller aquaria. plant in groups of 6 or more individual plants, leaving space for growth.
