As the name suggests, the Giant Pet Store is a very large building containing everything pet related, but unlike some others, our aquatics section is not skimped on. In fact the aquatics section has had a fairly recent re-fit with a complete John Allen system and plenty of 'behind the scenes' quarantine tanks. At the Giant Pet Store you will find we as are expert as you can get with the fish-keeping hobby

Our staff are all well experienced and many are OATA trained, so you can be sure of some top quality advice. The Giant Pet Store has a big focus on fish health, with all our fish being quarantined before sale, and individual nets assigned to each tank to avoid disease transferral. In addition to this we have a fish experienced vet who visits four times every year, just to ensure everything is in top condition.

In store you will find 54 tropical, 12 African cichlid, 12 coldwater, 9 four-foot discus, and 15 large marine sales aquaria with a good selection of sensible stock as well as large invert and plant tanks. All the marines are reef friendly and we avoid stocking troublesome species, which are impossible to keep in home aquariums.

If you are just browsing around the area we have an excellent range and some display tanks to inspire you in your hobby, including a nice Juwel display aquarium set up as a reef system, which would catch any fish keeper's eye.

The Giant Pet Store is certainly worth a visit, whether you keep just fish, or any other pets, we are sure to have everything you need under one roof. If you plan to purchase any fish, make sure you arrive in good time as quite sensibly, to avoid rushing the job, no fish are sold 15 minutes before closing.
