Riverside Aquatics and Crafts is a family run business with many years experience within the aquatic hobby.
We are established in a 17th century converted barn with ample free parking, situated within the centre of the picturesque village of Eardisland, which has facilities of tea rooms and public houses for those requiring refreshments.

Riverside Aquatics and Crafts mission is to ensure all customers are given the best possible professional advice on the keeping and managing of both tropical and cold water aquarium fish, along with top quality livestock, all ancillary equipment, foods and treatments. We are not here just to sell fish.

All our livestock are quarantined until they are ready for sale, all in separate filtered tanks so no water is mixed from one tank to another. Livestock is guaranteed for 48 hours with receipt and water sample.
We offer a unique personal service of advice and sales on our tropical and coldwater fish, from first time start up to the established hobbyist, in a warm and friendly environment.
Alongside the aquatic shop, we have a craft and gift shop offering a variety of small china and pottery goods, books, small antiques, unusual door stops, small ornaments, jewellery and much more. An intriguing shop for the browser and those looking for the unusual gift.

We hold a wide range of tropical fish for the community aquarium, and for the specialist, amongst other things we have hard water Discus, freshwater Indian Dwarf Puffers and Ghost Knifefish. In addition to aquatic livestock we also stock a wide range of reptile livestock and dry goods. All of our plants are totally aquatic we do not sell non aquatic plants like some other shops as these will just die and pollute the aquarium water. We also stock a wide range of frozen foods such as bloodworms, brine shrimp, mussel, etc

Should you ever have problems with water or livestock conditions we are always pleased to give free advice and provide the right solution. We keep a wide variety of treatments from water conditioner to disease treatments and in-store water condition analysis. If we do not have an instant answer to the problem, we will always do our best to find out.

We are able to offer a wide range of tanks to suit all budgets from 15litre tanks to 400litre aquariums and more with a range of stands to match.
