The Green Terror is given an apt name, they are territorial, aggressive, and intolerant of other fish. Very hardy and robust fishes of a similar size may make suitable tankmates, although problems may always occur. Provide hiding spots amongst rocks and wood. The fish will adapt to a wide range of water conditions and is relatively easy to keep. Green Terrors are sometimes confused with the Blue Acara Aequidens pulcher which is a smaller and much more peaceful fish.
This fish is excluded from the Compatibility Checker as it is unsuitable for community aquariums or may require expert care.
