The Snakeskin Gourami may not be as brightly coloured as some tropical fish but it has a certain charm and is well suited to a community of other gouramies or medium sized peaceful fish. The aquarium should be well planted to provide plenty of hiding spots. Although not a fast grower, the Snakeskin Gourami can reach up to 20cm so it is best to avoid mixing with very small fish. A peaceful and relatively hardy fish.
